Mathatic ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website at mathatic.com and meet.mathatic.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our services.

2. Google User Data

When you choose to sign in with Google, we access the following information from your Google account:

  • Email address — To create and identify your Mathatic account
  • Name — To personalize your experience and display your name in live sessions
  • Profile picture — To display your avatar in the application

We request only the minimum scopes necessary: openid, email, and profile.

How we use this data:

  • To create and manage your Mathatic account
  • To identify you in live classroom sessions and collaborative whiteboards
  • To send you important account-related notifications

How we store this data: Your Google account data is stored securely in our database hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure, protected by encryption at rest and in transit.

Data sharing: We do not sell, trade, or share your Google user data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Your data is only used to provide Mathatic's services.

Data retention: We retain your Google user data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your data at any time (see Section 7).

  • Create and manage your account
  • Enable participation in live classes and collaborative features

Mathatic is designed for students preparing for mathematical olympiads. Users under 13 years of age require parental consent to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

  • Correct your data: Update inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Delete your data: Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Revoke Google access: Remove Mathatic's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions
